Natalie read Law at the University of the West of England in Bristol and graduated in 2003. She joined the Freight Transport Association (FTA) later the same year working for the Vehicle Inspection Service.
In 2004, Natalie embarked on FTA’s Graduate Training Scheme which included a stint in FTA’s Member Advice Centre where she answered legal and technical queries for FTA Members. Following this, Natalie moved to the role of Product Analyst supporting the Digital Tachograph Business Development Team.
In the summer of 2006, Natalie took up the post of Regional Policy Manager for London, South East and East of England where she was responsible for developing and pursuing freight transport policies agreed by members of the Greater London and South East and East of England Regional Freight Councils.
In January 2010, Natalie was appointed to the role of Head of Policy for London where she continues to lead on regional lobbying activities and in particular the development of the Quiet Deliveries Demonstration Scheme and the management of freight and logistics policy in the lead up to and during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
